Necessary Sufficiency

Project: The Neuendorf House
Production: J. Konrad Schmidt
Geo: Majorca, S’Amarador, ES

Detailing in renders is a good thing, but it doesn't work without a foundation (framing, lighting, compositional balance, materials, etc.). Moreover, excessive detailing can turn an image into chaos. Many visualizers, including myself at the beginning of my career, suffer from this, trying to compensate for the insufficient quality of the base. Later, I encountered this from the client's side. The client, in an attempt to meticulously capture all the details and scenarios that need to be reflected in the render, compares the render preview with the list from the terms of reference (using people as an example):

"A girl with ice cream, tenderly watching her child play lapta, a group of yoginis standing on nails, four gentlemen in suits at a business lunch, IT professionals of different genders with laptops in the shade of trees, a medium-sized squirrel observing the action..."

To avoid mishaps during the process, it's better to let the client know in advance that the list is a recommendation, and you will use this set in your work as necessary. Otherwise, chaos.

Today's photos contain nothing but terracotta minimalist architecture, competent composition, lighting, production, and just one (!) but striking girl. This case is quite applicable for advertising some elite residential complex.
