Post-Production

Cycle: Evaluation of Visualization Projects

Post-production is carried out after the visualization stage. The extent of its elaboration depends on the studio’s approach. We have previously described the approaches of full 3D and 2D production, providing brief definitions for each.

I will reiterate that at Gork Studio, we strive to adhere to a more versatile full 3D approach, which provides us with flexibility in scaling perspectives, as our projects require both bird’s-eye views and close-up shots.

The volume of work in post-production for full 3D is noticeably lower than in the case of manual 2D drawing of the project, so the cost of this task is already included in the basic summer daytime perspective.

Post-production, or "compositing" as it’s also called, can significantly affect the project’s cost only in the case of animation tasks. However, that’s a different story altogether.
