Architecture: Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter
Geo: Mosetertoppen, NO
Whether it's the rain with green grass in January or the aftertaste of reading fantasy with Norwegian motifs, it prompted the thought of exploring archives on Scandinavian projects. The guys from today’s selection are not as well-known as the hyped Snøhetta, but they have appeared in the magazine before.
The reason is banal: most of RRA's projects are located in settings that resemble a generation of a conditional SD. However, the architecture and surroundings are not the result of an elaborate prompt but real footage of a completed object. Gingerbread houses, with the strictness of Norwegian architecture, wrapped in snow caps, convey an atmosphere of home warmth and coziness even through the screen.
The Favn project is a ski village for 1,000 people. I would like to draw your attention to two unconventional things that stand out:
PS Expect at least one more project from this bureau, and in the meantime, you can familiarize yourself with the 5 principles of Scandinavian architecture.

- The snow cover completely hides the landscaping. This creates an impression of unnatural artistry that draws the eye.
- The design of the orthogonal bird and functional section. I rarely see such stylization in drawings, but it seems to greatly enhance the approval process of the concept and project coordination.
