Talents and Hard Work

The process of creative development varies. Sometimes, you have an obvious innate talent, and your task is merely to apply it. However, such cases are rare. Most people are less fortunate, and the path to unveiling talent goes through hard work, which always yields excellent results.

I was once taught to work with architecture and CG. Later, I taught and observed as my colleagues grew. Everyone who truly aims for outstanding results achieves them, some sooner, some later. There have been exceptions, but they are merely statistical outliers (I didn't recognize the lack of genuine interest).

After accumulating a significant amount of experience, a professional develops an interesting ability: to perceive the creative process "above the task," or, if you will, from the outside. Such perception allows critically evaluating and leading work even in unfamiliar fields or styles, while, remarkably, maintaining a personal style. Take a look at today's photographer's profile.
