Project: Chapel of Sound Architecture:Open Architecture Geo: Chengde, CH
Acoustics, like insulation, are calculated in a special architectural section. Analyzing the flow of sound waves is a necessary component when constructing any concert, theater, or opera hall. These calculations directly influence the internal appearance of the space and effectively distribute sound to the audience.
Modern tools allow for the design of completely unconventional spaces. A good example is today’s project. Not only is the structure located in an inaccessible high-altitude area and resembles a rock, but the styling also extends to the interior space. I would like to highlight the austerity of the decor, which adds a special charm to the entire complex. There is only soft, warm lighting and navigation signs present.
Everything inside and outside will allow the audience to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of unity with nature and enjoy musical works. The light wells, without any hint of glass, will let the sound of the wind introduce unique overtones into classical compositions.
When I get to China, I will definitely attend a concert there!
