Traditional Chinese culture is unparalleled, especially in terms of architecture. Despite the prevalence of high-rise construction that has explosively developed in recent decades (consider the somber futurism), China pays homage to its traditions and carefully preserves its historical buildings.

The once bustling Jiajian Street, popular with the youth, necessitated the reconstruction of several dilapidated structures.

How, you might ask, can one reconstruct a historic town hall? The team at LYCS Architecture has an answer — effortlessly. They create a fantastic blend of Zaha Hadid’s stylistics with the age-old elements of the original structure.
