Artistic Signature in CG

Cycle: Quality Criteria

Like traditional painting or drawing, an artistic signature in Computer Graphics (CG) is inherent to highly skilled specialists. The main criterion is the recognizability of the work without looking at the signature.

In my opinion, this is a skill that is developed over time. It becomes apparent when you have amassed not just a hundred but thousands of renders. There are talented artists whose unique style becomes evident much more quickly, but not until the 3ds Max environment feels like home to them.

A key factor influencing the artistic signature is the client’s perspective. The harsh market conditions in commercial tasks are a significant argument, creating boundaries for creative imagination. Clients' requests often do not align with your vision. The work process requires reasoned persuasion, or sometimes just the right client, to fully unfold your creative potential.

Many artists resolve this issue with non-commercial projects, where there are no boundaries or restrictions.
