Remember that crazy linear city project that got the green light for construction?

The location is called NEOM, and the linear city is just one part of it. There is also the OXAGON area — a zone on the Red Sea where the 200-kilometer line ends.

The Arabs position NEOM as an innovative city of the future. It’s hard to disagree, considering the amount of architectural, engineering, logistical, and other solutions that need to be developed from scratch and integrated during the realization of the project. Although the term "object" is not quite correct. "Mega-construction" might be more suitable, especially after seeing the construction site photos.

In preparing this material, I studied several articles and architectural critics, who tend to believe that the city will eventually start to expand outward, acquiring the look of a typical metropolis. We’ll see. The main volume is planned to be completed by 2030.

And since NEOM is a city of the future, the architecture within it should match the concept. The video shows one of such projects.
