Despite being far from church themes, religious architecture remains a significant cultural layer that continues to influence the appearance of cities worldwide.

Due to the church’s historical wealth, cathedrals and chapels have become urban landmarks, reflecting the evolution of architectural history.

I appreciate the European and American approach, where architects aren’t afraid to experiment in such a canonical field. And imagine, China is keeping pace with them!

Today’s project is located in Qingdao. Its design embodies centuries-old Catholic traditions, provoking contemplation. The architecture itself looks like an extraterrestrial art object. In my opinion, this is the right way to reinterpret without losing meaning, seamlessly integrating into the modern urban environment.
