3D-Job Opportunity. The Culture of Portfolio

Part 1

Recently, many talented individuals have reached out to us, expressing interest in working at Gork Studio, both remotely and in-house. I want to emphasize that we always carefully review all the information you send us, more than once.

The portfolio is the primary criterion for assessing the level of a 3D specialist and is examined first and foremost. There are several points that can increase your chances of success:

  1. Applications without a portfolio are deleted.
  2. The best format is a link to a folder (not an archive) in a cloud service (Yandex/Google Drive).
  3. Do not delete this folder; instead, keep adding to and improving it, while maintaining the link’s address.
  4. Your portfolio should contain up to 10 of your best works in high quality.
  5. File names should be systematic, for example: yymmdd-project-name-camera-№
  6. Study the employer to whom you are sending your portfolio, to ensure a rough match between the level and profile of your work and theirs.
