Festival: Summer in Moscow. Gardens and flowers
Forum: Moscow 2030

Over the last weekend, I got a strong impression that VDNH has decided to scale up to all significant recreational areas of the Capital. The occasion was two events: the traditional festival Summer in Moscow (I would call it a blooming garden — everything is literally drowning in greenery, just the bridges alone are worth it) and the forum-festival Moscow 2030.
I will elaborate more on the latter. I have never seen anything like it before. The scale is truly grand: over 200 decorated venues have completely transformed familiar locations. The traditional walking route through Manezhka, Gostinka, Zaryadye, Bolotka, Oktyabr, Muzeon, and PG turns into an epic adventure, where you need at least half a day for each zone to explore all the details. And it’s not just exhibitions — there are various lectures and activities taking place. Subscribe to the event’s Telegram channel in the header with announcements (not an ad), where everyone will find something they enjoy.
I was struck by the fact that, from a visual perception standpoint, familiar places look in line with the festival’s main slogan — City of the Future. Interactive objects, light installations, and urban furniture make both children and adults smile. Surfing with a view of Ostozhenka, touching house-sized dinosaurs, controlling a light installation visible from everywhere in the center, etc. I hope some of the exhibition objects will remain even after the event ends. I will definitely come by to shoot other locations.
