Last night, I hurriedly packed for a shoot in Gelendzhik—my third time at the airport. Simply because it’s beautiful and patiently waiting for flights to resume. Due to weather in Sochi, there were crazy departure delays, so I finalized the post while looking out the plane window. Among my bookmarks, I had material on the DJI flagship store in China, perfectly fitting the aviation theme.
I consider Apple stores the pioneers of this commercial format—my colleagues were building them when I was still a newbie in 3D design. The term "store" doesn’t quite fit these places; they’re more like ecosystem spaces that, beyond obvious retail, create platforms for communication, learning, and native events, all wrapped in a tech-design product aesthetic.
