Winter Photography Rules

On a serious note, winter "street" photography, much like during rainy weather, uniquely highlights architecture and street details. I was fortunate to capture the streets also without snow, where the density of the frosty air is clearly visible.

In these shots (especially those where the sky and horizon are visible), one can observe another characteristic associated with winter: cold magenta hues that persist even in sunny weather.

I’m not a fan of dense blue, green, and yellow in the frame, so I ruthlessly remove these colors from the palette at the first opportunity. Without them, the picture looks more cohesive. However, in panoramic shots during winter or, conversely, summer ones with the sea, you’ll be forced to keep them to fully convey the atmosphere.
