3D:Tanevoo Project: Millennium Horizon Geo: Abu Dhabi, UAE
The hype around AI has somewhat subsided, and the process is moving into a phase where tools no longer amaze and require deep integration into working algorithms. From my observations, about half of our contractors have not yet immersed themselves in this process. Guys — you are falling behind the market! It’s easier to stay silent, but healthy competition is essential for all participants in the 3D field. The global upskilling of artists determines how quickly we will develop, both in terms of specialist levels and software advancements.
Previously, I mentioned that there are two types of project implementation in archviz:
1. Full 3D 2. Matte Painting
Neural networks have mixed them: SD can be deeply integrated into each, significantly enhancing the quality of final works. The best results come from combining all three approaches. Even I sometimes find it hard to distinguish between a render and a photograph. I dread to imagine where progress will take us in two years.
I have always admired the work of top matte painters: unlike commercial renders, they achieved an unattainable level of realism for me. Today, this is accessible to a wider range of specialists. I also note the emergence of new studios that base their work on AI with minimal 3D workload. Check out the project in today’s selection — it’s simply mind-blowing.
PS We just need to wait for well-developed and complete algorithms for integrating AI into video, and then we will definitely dive into the matrix.
