SHIFT

Project (Hi-Res): SHIFT
Client: Pioneer
Geo: Moscow, RU
3D: Gork Studio

Clients are divided into two categories:
  • those who hire artists for "training" in their own craft
  • those who hire artists to get a quality product

The first type of clients — breaks the very essence of the work of visualizers. Think about it: you are chosen based on your portfolio, but there is a client behind you telling you how to better do the project. It’s scary when this happens at the level of technical implementation. Do not give access to the internal kitchen of production — it will not end well. Such clients are usually accompanied by another curious fact — selection of a performer on the principle of a tender for fittings: wherever it’s cheaper, that’s who we take. Value your labor and avoid such clients.

The second type — is the area you need to aim for. The client is focused on the result, ready to listen and hear. With this approach, compromises are possible to resolve the most complex taste aspects. As a result, the overall level of work grows, as the best approach is chosen for project development and artists do not waste extra time on adjustments, which usually lower the overall level of 3D.

Pioneer belongs to the second type. We met them at the end of last year and are now closely working on several projects. Cool guys who make quality architecture. Proud of their renders in the portfolio.
