Working with Developers

If there were an Olympic discipline for delaying deadlines, developers would be champions. Negotiations, advance payments, post-payments, signing documents, comments. On one hand, it’s understandable: large business, bureaucracy, local ambitions, hundreds of subcontractors, "suddenly" disappearing documents. All this does not contribute to quality acceleration of activity.

In essence, a developer is a hub where investments and various real estate project implementation tools converge. The quality of the projects depends on how effectively the interaction between these elements is organized. A pattern I've noticed: the bigger the company, the higher the chances that the project will not meet your quality criteria, affecting timelines and costs.

An amusing situation arises. You are hired as professionals, after reviewing your portfolio and clients, going through a strict selection, but in the end, you are told how to do your job. That never made sense to me.

Surprisingly, the situation in the regions is different. Companies often make mistakes but in a win-win mode, they listen, learn, and implement solutions if they see a positive practical result.

Be careful when choosing a client.
