Three years ago, in#nbsp;a#nbsp;conversation with Sergey Reshotkin, the head of#nbsp;VMS Development, I#nbsp;was surprised to#nbsp;learn that the Rukavishnikovs' Estate in#nbsp;Nizhny Novgorod had inspired the reconstruction of#nbsp;one of#nbsp;their projects. For me, the estate is#nbsp;associated with another of#nbsp;their works#nbsp;— the House with Atlantes.
The sculptural group with atlantes has become the hallmark of#nbsp;the project. It#nbsp;was restored first and has become a#nbsp;reason for passersby to#nbsp;stop and cars to#nbsp;slow down.
I#nbsp;had an#nbsp;unfinished business for a#nbsp;long time: to#nbsp;snap a#nbsp;picture of#nbsp;them before the restoration was completed. I#nbsp;managed it :) Now we#nbsp;are waiting to#nbsp;admire the whole composition.
P.#nbsp;S. The rather expensive apartments in#nbsp;this cozy corner of#nbsp;Kitay-gorod, according to#nbsp;Yandex data, are almost all sold out! I#nbsp;am#nbsp;sure the atlantes played a#nbsp;significant role in#nbsp;this.
