Project: Embankment of Sochi
I watched with interest as this year Moscow competed with Sochi for the cost per square meter. After the Olympics, the region, despite skepticism, gained momentum that others are unlikely to achieve soon. The plan to create a convenient infrastructure for leisure in the most logical place for Russia is bearing fruit. People, consistently heating up the real estate market, are buying everything in sight.
The pandemic with closed borders adds to this activity. However, I believe that without roads, tunnels, entertainment, restoration, etc., the dynamics would not have been so significant. As a result, it encompasses the entire region, where even on the opposite end of the coast, they are building a space airport in Gelendzhik, about which we wrote at the end of summer. As for the project in this post, namely the "bird", it feels like looking at a part of the coast as if it’s some Dubai.
