Let’s return to the theme of Scandinavian arthouse. Last time we discussed the reasons why the renders of restrained, and sometimes even ascetic architecture, resonate so deeply.

Therefore, we will simply observe the integration into the natural landscape and enjoy it. We’ll discuss form and function in more detail later.

In front of us is traditional Finnish architecture with an elongated shape, protruding gutters, and a vertical wooden facade. The shape provides autonomy to functional areas, allowing, for example, children to sleep comfortably in one wing of the building while adults party noisily in another.

The authors themselves formulated their main task as "having everything necessary with as little space as possible". Indeed, two buildings with a total area of 70 m² can comfortably accommodate 10 people. These guys would definitely not be lost if they moved to Hong Kong, for example, where 5−7 m² capsule apartments are the norm.
