Belarus Minsk(2)

Part 6.2

We have smoothly approached the conclusion of our series about Belarus. To summarize, I would like to emphasize once again the amazing cleanliness and order that prevail in the Republic. Guests feel welcome here, whether in the capital or in remote towns. The people are hospitable and somewhat naïve. It was amusing to hear how one Belarusian brother living in St. Petersburg gave a thorough briefing on household safety to his brother living in Minsk before his arrival at Pulkovo.

For us lovers of architectural delights, there is also much to please the eye: from Soviet themes, which are remarkably well-preserved, to the unusual medieval layer.

Finally, I will mention the succinct slogan of the whole trip: Іўе

Try pronouncing the name of this city without Google. I practiced this exercise all the way from Grodno to Minsk, but only got the correct pronunciation from a souvenir shop right after asking for "that strange three-letter name."
