From the art history lectures, the architecture of the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava deeply resonated with me.
As a proponent of refined engineering architecture, he has long placed his white structures far beyond the homeland of siestas and bullfights. Importantly, all his realized projects have become significant urban landmarks, attracting numerous tourists.
I am drawn to the philosophy of engineering architecture. Particularly fascinating is the fact that he started with bridges, to which I have a special fondness. I have been fortunate to see a couple of his works: the Auditorio de Tenerife and the Montjuïc Communications Tower in Barcelona.
I think everyone has guessed who is the author of today’s project) Birds, panoramic views of night-time London, Calatrava — a delightful cocktail.
