Lefortovo, where Supermetal is located, is a little piece of St. Petersburg in the historical center of Moscow. The lack of greenery, brutal industrial-Stalinist architecture, well-like courtyards, and the sophisticated, intellectual atmosphere of Baumanka — it has almost all the attributes of a cultural capital. Such an environment naturally forms a comfortable setting for creativity and work. And the scientific spirit of the former Bardina Institute of Ferrous Metallurgy, where Supermetal is based, only contributes to this.

The interior space, which the project authors call "The Lobby," includes endlessly high ceilings with a glass roof, open truss constructions, and an intricate intertwining of functional zones, where young and not-so-young people with laptops are hard at work.
I note that this is precisely a business public space. Anyone can comfortably settle here for work. I got the impression that I am simultaneously in the corridors of a university and a super-technological office.
