A Proper 3D Project, But in Photographs

Photographer: Wong Ke
Project: Xuhui West Coast Port Ferry Tourist Distribution Center
Architecture: Archi-Union
Location: Xuhui, Shanghai

While sifting through a stream of new projects for publication today, we stumbled upon this marvel. To be honest, we didn’t immediately notice the absence of 3D in the project. It feels as if the photographer executed the project for an architectural visualization) Let’s delve into what makes this project attractive:

  1. Content variety. From birds and orthogonal top views to close-ups with the environment and interior.
  2. Composition. The perspectives are set magnificently! They play well both in terms of the placement of objects and axes, as well as the planning of the structures.
  3. Clarity of shooting and the selection of surrounding plots.

Of course, it’s important to note that the architecture itself looks advantageous. It provides a wide field for creativity, however, the author would hardly have managed without a systematic approach. 100% he renders architecture in his free time)
